When you hit it the walls come down (in reverse of the opening animation), the initialization is repeated, and then new walls go up. This moves throughout the maze on its on. Here's one of its windows:Īn overview video describing the system is available here. WINDOWS XP 3D MAZE SCREENSAVER WINDOWS It doesnt do anything when you touch it. I also created a full-featured data processing and analysis program in MATLAB to handle the summary and time-series data generated by the C++ program when running experiments on the VSA. a path via which the passing is performed. By default, after each 3D simulation of passing through the maze, 2D drawing (a top view) of the maze with the solution is shown, i.e. Number of various 3D mazes 3D Maze ScreenSaver can generate is practically infinite. I'd always thought the screen saver map was procedurally generated. This is followed by display of 3D simulation of the passing through the maze.

The program for this apparatus was fairly involved, as it required a GUI (which I implemented using the cross-platform wxWidgets GUI library), affine transformations to map 3D coordinates from the limb tracker to 2D coordinates in space and vice versa (after deriving these transformations, I tested them in MATLAB and then incorporated them into the program itself using LAPACK and Armadillo), and integration with third-party APIs for the various tracking hardware. These beautiful screensavers for Windows 10 1. Net Framework 4.5 - 1024 MB RAM - 2.0 Ghz CPU - Nvidia 9500 GT - 60 MB free space - 30 MB after install. It includes a monitor, a partially-silvered mirror (to modulate or eliminate limb visibility), a limb tracking system, an optional head-mounted eye tracker, and a custom multi-threaded C++ program to run experiments, provide the experimenter with real-time feedback on a participant's performance, and collect tracking and performance data. Here are 12 stunning screensavers for Windows 10. I designed this apparatus for behavioural experiments involving reaching and eye movements (the basic concept is adapted from a 1995 paper by Daniel Wolpert et al.).
